Python Job: Senior Python Developer

Project Description

Our Client is a US multinational investment bank and financial services corporation. We are building a new team in Canada that will work on creating new micro-services and solutions on Python as a replacements of legacy EUC solutions. You will join Luxoft development team distributed between Kyiv and Canada and partner with other client's teams based in Shanghai, New York and Canada

Responsibilities

Develop micro-services and solutions in Python aligned with strategic business deliveries and in support of EUC reduction initiatives. Our platform consists of a suite of data acquisition and transformation services some of which are written in Python. We require a developer to work on new development and enhancements of these services which are expected to scale for very large use cases (processing millions of records per day).

Skills

Must have

o 5+ years of Python experience
o Advanced knowledge of Python 3.6+, inclusive of best practices (TDD), patterns etc...
o Experience in developing scalable micro services
o Knowledge of cloud based architecture and experience in developing and rolling out solutions
o An aptitude to work autonomously, across a globally distributed team

Nice to have

o Knowledge of python microservice development using FAST API
o Pandas, Spark
o Streaming technology experience: Faust
